Beeswax Scotland is based in Lochgelly in Scotland. It all began in 2016 and they have been making their products from home using ingredients that are ethically sourced and sometimes harvested and grown in their own garden. All their ingredients come from sustainable sources, supporting responsible beekeeping practices and fair trade initiatives for shea butter production. Beeswax Scotland, by choosing these natural elements, allows us as customers to minimize our ecological footprint, avoiding synthetic additives and single-use packaging.

Besswax cleansing bar is based on the original solid lotion bar recipe, this 100% natural cleansing bar is a soap free alternative that helps calm/reduce any inflammation and the appearance of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sensitive or combination skin.

Utilizing beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter and pure hive honey in a solid cleansing bar reaps both skin-enhancing and ethical rewards.

Beeswax gently purifies while maintaining skin's natural moisture, and coconut oil's antibacterial properties cleanse without disrupting the skin barrier.

Beeswax: anti-inflammatory properties encourage the healing of wounds. It is protective, helping form a barrier between the skin and the environment without clogging pores. Beeswax is high in vitamin A, which supports cell reconstruction and is also a humectant, which means that it attracts water. This helps keep the skin hydrated and soft.

Shea Butter: The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea (shay) butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturising for skin. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin's natural oils.

Coconut Oil: reducing inflammation, keeping skin moisturised and helping heal wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil also possess antimicrobial properties that can help protect the skin from harmful bacteria.

Pure Hive Honey: helps balance the bacteria on your skin and is also a natural exfoliator, which means applying it to your face takes off dry, dull skin and reveals new skin cells underneath. It is naturally antibacterial, so it's great for acne treatment and prevention. Aging: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging. Complexion boost: It is extremely moisturising and soothing, so it helps create a glow.

Directions for use of cleansing bar:

Run both hands under warm water. Rub the cleansing bar between your palms (like soap). Rub your palms together after putting the bar down but be careful not to let the bar become wet. Massage your hands over your face for a few minutes then rinse off using a warm wet cloth. Repeat as necessary. Use as required.
