The bee hives started in Tyne and Wear, then the bees moved across North East England, West Coast Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway. They move their beehives regularly, giving the colonies the best possible opportunity to obtain the highest quality nectar and pollen from various flora, this in turn allows their bees to create the highest quality honey. Which is why they named it The travelling Bee Company.

The taste: Buckwheat honey is slightly thick with a strong aroma and a distinctive full-bodied spicy-malt flavour giving it a lingering aftertaste. Great with salmon recipes, buckwheat and honey cookies and making mead.
