Five Bees Yard is a family project that connects people with a piece of nature. They are 3rd generation of beekeepers taking pride in keeping things as simple as possible and as close to nature as they can. They currently have 3 apiaries in Hertfordshire, UK where they hand make all their own candles. They use only beeswax that is 100% pure and natural.  Pure and natural beeswax burns cleanly, producing less soot and lasting longer. Beeswax candles emit negative ions cleaning and improving quality of air. Lots of reviewers have stated that after they switch to beeswax candles their allergy symptoms are relieved or disappear. Beeswax candles are believed to be a good antidepressant as it produces a light very similar to the one sun emits - bright and yellow. And for those of us who are environment conscious and friendly, there is an argument of sustainability of beeswax. Produced by bees in the process of nectar collection, beeswax does not require human intervention (like deforestation for soy plants) neither is it made in laboratories. Five Bees yard only extract what the bees make and in quantities that the bees allow them to extract and they do not add any chemicals or bleachers.

Tealight in cup. Long burning tealights are handmade. Each candle is carefully crafted in order to provide best burning quality. Tealights are made of raw and natural beeswax and will produce strong flame. Maintaining wick at approx 4mm may be required in order to get the best out of a candle.

Burning time is approx 3hrs (if wick maintained properly). Dimension of a candle: approx 16mm (h) x 37mm (d).

No cups tea lights refill candle. Handmade. They will fit standard cups. Reuse your tea light cups by using the refill candle. Do not light refill without a container as beeswax once liquid will spill over.
